Following the violent outbreak on November 24 during the survey at Sambhal Shahi Jama Masjid, which led to the deaths of five people, the administration has been on high alert. In preparation for Jumma Namaz, the police have been deployed in full force across the city.

In the midst of this, news emerged of a youth performing worship near the mosque. As soon as the police received this information, they intervened quickly and detained the youth. He was then taken into custody in a police vehicle.

In order to prevent any potential unrest during Jumma Namaz, Sambhal police have put in place strict security measures.

The youth was taken to the police station for questioning. Reports suggest that the situation escalated before Jumma Namaz when the youth began performing religious rituals outside the mosque. The police immediately apprehended him when they saw him worshiping.

The police are now trying to determine why the youth chose to worship outside the mosque. He is currently being questioned. In a conversation with the media, the youth explained that he was worshiping Lord Bholenath outside the mosque.

‘I Was Worshiping Lord Bholenath’

When asked by the media, the detained youth stated, "I was worshiping Lord Bholenath." When questioned if he was attempting to enter the mosque, he replied, "Where was I allowed to enter the mosque? I was standing outside." The youth had a Tripundra mark on his forehead.

When asked why the police were taking him, he responded, "You should ask the police. We don’t know. We were just going for darshan (to see) of Lord Bholenath." After this exchange, the police team took the youth away for further questioning.
