Shocking Arrest: Four Bangladeshis Detained for Illegal Immigration in Dhule Hotel

A major stir has been created in Dhule after the arrest of four Bangladeshis from the New Sher-e-Punjab hotel. The local crime investigation team and the ATS carried out this operation, leading to significant attention in the city.

According to the police, two days ago, they received information about Bangladeshis arriving in Dhule under the guise of selling blankets. Based on this tip, the police took action. It was revealed that four Bangladeshi nationals were residing in Room No. 122 of the New Sher-e-Punjab lodge in the city without valid documentation, in violation of immigration laws.

The arrested individuals were identified as:

Mohammad Mehtab Bilal Sheikh (48)
Shilpi Begum Mohammad Betab Sheikh (43), originally from Charakandi village, Siphchar Police Station, Mahidipur, Bangladesh.
Beauty Begum Polas Sheikh (45), originally from Behenatola village, Siphchar, Mahidipur, Bangladesh.
Ripa Rafique Sheikh (30), originally from Shrikrishnadi, Kabirspur Police Station, Rajur, Mahidipur, Bangladesh.

Illegal Entry into India:

Upon interrogation, the Bangladeshis revealed that Mohammad Sheikh and Shilpi Begum are a married couple, and the two women are sisters. They admitted that they had illegally entered India through unauthorized routes due to unemployment and without any valid travel documents. They had been staying at the New Sher-e-Punjab hotel, looking for work and a place to live in Dhule.

The police also confiscated four mobile phones worth approximately ₹40,000 from them. They did not possess any valid passports or visas confirming their Bangladeshi citizenship. Furthermore, the investigation revealed that they were using the IMO app to communicate with their relatives.

The four individuals have been taken into police custody, and further investigations are underway.
