NEW DELHI: Congress pioneer Priyanka Gandhi alongside resistance MPs on Tuesday wore a pack supporting Bangladeshi minorities in the Parliament daily after she was censured by the Bharatiya Janata Party for conveying a sack with "Palestine" composed on it.
"Stand with Bangladeshi Hindus and Christians," the statement on her pack read, concerning the occurrences of assaults on minorities in Bangladesh following the ouster of State head Sheik Hasina.

Taking to X, Priyanka imparted the picture to a couplet in Sanskrit.

"This is mine, that is yours, express those of limited personalities. For the respectable hearted, notwithstanding, the whole world is one family," she said.

BJP's IT cell head Amit Malviya referred to Priyanka as "greater calamity than Rahul Gandhi".

Priyanka's signal comes days after she was seen wearing a high contrast keffiyeh (a customary Palestinian headscarf) during a gathering with the Palestinian Government office's Charge d'Affaires.
